About Indonesia Women’s Run

The Indonesia Women’s Run (“IWR”) is the 1st Indonesia Road Running race where all the participants women and girls.

The inaugural IWR 2020 was held in commemoration of International Women’s Day which celebrated on the 8th of March every year. It is a day when celebrate the amazing social, cultural, economic and political achievements of women – while also campaigning for greater progress towards gender equality. Indonesia Women’s Run has been empowering women to live great through running.

Inaugural Indonesia Women’s Run was held on March 8, 2020. but unfortunately after that there was a pandemic so that 2021 was held virtually, in 2022 it was still virtual and running together with a limited number of participants.

IWR 2023 will flag off the ladies at the event’s starting point – Rukan Osaka at PIK 2  on 12 March 2023 (Sunday).

The categories will be the 10km, 5km, the ‘2km Mummy + Me Run’ for mothers and daughter aged 7 to 12 and the ‘100m Princess Dash’ for girls aged 3 to 6.
